Single — with children
Equivalent to approximately $61.67 per day ($863.40 ÷ 14 days).
Youth Allowance recipients aged under 25 with dependent children receive $863.40 per fortnight ($61.67 per day). The with-children rate is substantially higher and recognises the cost of supporting dependants as a young parent. Youth Allowance is indexed on 1 January each year — the next increase takes effect 1 January 2027.
