Single 16–17 — at home
Equivalent to approximately $30.20 per day ($422.80 ÷ 14 days).
Young people aged 16–17 living at home receive $422.80 per fortnight ($30.20 per day) through Youth Allowance. The at-home rate is lower because it assumes reduced living costs when living with parents or guardians. Youth Allowance is indexed on 1 January each year — the next increase takes effect 1 January 2027.
