Equivalent to approximately $84.19 per day ($1178.70 ÷ 14 days).
Single Age Pension recipients receive up to $1,178.70 per fortnight ($84.19 per day), comprising the base pension rate, Pension Supplement, and Energy Supplement. The Age Pension is available to Australians aged 67 and over who meet residency, income, and assets test requirements. Rates are indexed in March and September each year.
Assets Test
Non-homeowners receive a higher assets free area than homeowners to account for not owning their home. You can hold up to $579,500 and still receive the full pension.
