Equivalent to approximately $63.46 per day ($888.50 ÷ 14 days).
Couples separated due to illness each receive the higher single rate of up to $1,178.70 per fortnight ($84.19 per day). Because you are living apart due to health reasons, each person's situation is assessed as if single for rate purposes. Rates are indexed in March and September each year.
Assets Test
Non-homeowners separated due to illness receive the highest assets thresholds of any Age Pension category. You can hold up to $739,500 combined and still receive the full pension.
