Disability Support Pension

Equivalent to approximately $84.19 per day ($1178.70 ÷ 14 days).
Single adults on the Disability Support Pension receive up to $1,178.70 per fortnight ($84.19 per day), comprising the base pension rate, Pension Supplement, and Energy Supplement. DSP is paid at the same rate as the Age Pension and is available to people under 67 with a permanent physical, intellectual, or psychiatric condition. Rates are indexed in March and September each year.
Assets Test
DSP uses the same assets thresholds as the Age Pension. Homeowners and non-homeowners have different limits.
