Equivalent to approximately $63.46 per day ($888.50 ÷ 14 days).
Partnered carers receive up to $888.50 per fortnight each ($63.46 per day) through Carer Payment. The same income and assets tests that apply to the Age Pension apply here. Both partners must separately meet eligibility requirements to each receive payment. Rates are indexed in March and September each year.
Assets Test
Carer Payment uses the same assets thresholds as the Age Pension. Homeowners and non-homeowners have different limits.

Income Test
As a couple, you can earn up to $380.00/fn combined before your payment reduces. Above this, your payment reduces by 50 cents per dollar.
